NEEA and BPA formed the Conduit Steering Team in spring 2010 to provide feedback and input on the project to ensure that the end result delivers value; represent a wide range of regional perspectives, aid in regional buy-in; and nurture “site champions” to help jump start usage.
The team makeup represents the project partners and a cross-section of utilities. We aimed to include team members from all sectors, parts of the region, and sizes of utilities.
The team has been convened to help guide BPA and NEEA on the development of the community. The plan was to reassess the need for such a team once the initial features were developed.
The team has met on a semi-regular basis since May 2010 via conference calls. Team members have been asked to review documents and other project deliverables (mock-ups or beta site) and provide feedback (written, verbal, or during meetings). This feedback has been used to guide the development of the functionality and the policies of the site.
