Residential Energy and Water Intelligence (Res-Intel) is a Portland-based startup with a existing portfolio of large customers looking for innovative energy solutions. We integrate big data analytics will behavioral tools to drive behavior change to make the residential building sector more energy efficient.

 

Res-Intel is looking for an energy efficiency program manager to manage the implementation of energy efficiency programs for our utility  clients. This position will be located in Portland, Oregon, but remote candidates may be considered depending on experience and interest.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Key account management working closely with utility client personnel to monitor program results delivering high quality work on time and on budget.
  • Oversee all programs/services and project design, planning and delivery within the program portfolio.
  • Lead program budget planning, cost tracking and forecasting activities.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of program the program budget tracking dashboard (in Google Sheets)
  • Conduct QA/QC of program processes and protocols, offering design improvements and recommendations.
  • Establish and manage subcontractors that participate across the programs.
  • Develop and manage relationships with project partners, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Other responsibilities that arise from being a superstar program manager in a startup company, including business and/or organizational development.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of energy efficiency experience, preferably including:
  • Project management
  • Budget and contract management
  • Strategic planning in program development
  • Leading cross-functional teams
  • Managing client, peer, and vendor relationships
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Superior communication and writing skills
  • Problem solving and critical reasoning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Commitment to social and environmental improvements
