Curious about the Demand Response (DR)/Distributed Energy Resources(DER) and how it relates to EE in the Northwest? Well, we've got a great course in store for you. Over the next number of weeks, you will better understand what DR/DER is, how these two things play together for various programs in the region and explore opportunities to optimize demand response’s impact in the Northwest.

Conduit ED is inspired by the idea that every energy efficiency professional working in the Northwest can be empowered by a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of energy efficiency. This web-based educational program provides the Conduit community a unique and interactive educational resource.

Class begins July 19, and each week there will be a new article on Conduit to read. Ask questions, leave comments and engage in discussion… and enjoy!

Here’s a sneak peek at what's ahead:
Week 1- Getting Started with Demand Response and Distributed Energy Resources
Week 2- Demand Response and Residential Products
Week 3- Demand Response and Agricultural Irrigation
Week 4- Intermittent Energy Resources and Battery Storage
Week 5- Wrap up
Week 6- Survey

We'll feature each article in our Conduit newsletter, and also add them to our Conduit ED: Demand Response & Distributed Energy Resources as they post!

Are you new to DR, or do you have an advanced understanding of the topic? Take this poll to let us know!
