We are focused on sharing ideas and resources regarding conservation and efficiency improvements within water and wastewater systems. The entire water cycle utilizes energy, from sourcing, treatment, storage and distribution of drinking water out to consumers, to the collection, conveyance, treatment, and disposal or reuse of wastewater from consumers. Stormwater collection and treatment can also be energy intensive, and we also include industrial water and wastewater systems.
We also discuss energy generation and recovery opportunities, including gas cogeneration, renewables, microhydro, and demand response systems.
