This group is focused exclusively on application of variable-capacity heat pump technology to conserve electricity in the Northwest region. Variable-capacity heat pumps are capable of "continuously" matching heating or cooling capacity to a building's load.
The goal is to achieve through collaboration more than we are able to as individual stakeholders. Specifically, we endeavor to help each other (1) identify and develop promising new technologies, (2) plan for needed infrastructure, such as new markets and industries, and (3) create opportunities to improve the social and environmental health of the region.
