Advanced Water Heater Specification 6.0 will need updates to include the following:

  • Test method and performance for split systems
  • Low temperature performance
  • Incorporation of Demand Response at lower tiers
  • Shift in refrigerants
  • Inclusion of 95 degree ambient temperatures
  • Harmonize with Canadian and US government
  • Integration of 120 Volt solution for Multi-family, Mobile home and California Market
