Leads Strategic Energy Management program for one or multiple customers to help commercial program participants apply the principles of continuous improvement to energy management. Responsibilities of this dynamic role include leading group workshops and providing individual coaching. Candidates should have extensive experience with the application of Continuous Improvement, Change Management and Six Sigma principles. Key duties and skills required for the coaching element of this position include:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee client relationship concerning the commercial SEM program
  • Overall program management including budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage and track program progress
  • Motivate and coach facility management and teams
  • Guide the development of overall continuous improvement plans
  • Facilitate training workshops and onsite energy audits and other one-on-one events
  • Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
  • Develop site improvement plans
  • Manage direct reports

Job Requirements:

  • Passion for energy efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing organizational change methodologies, strategic plans, or supporting cultural change within an organization
  • 3-5 years of experience managing direct reports
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Experience presenting to large groups of people
  • Proven ability to motivate individuals and teams
