Experienced utility executive to lead new market strategies

 PORTLAND, Ore. — Dan Dent, a utility industry executive with 30 years of experience, has joined Evergreen Consulting Group as director of innovation. Founded in 1997, Evergreen connects utilities with supply chains to deliver practical solutions for commercial, industrial and residential customers.

 “Our clients are looking for innovative new strategies to continually improve customer satisfaction and achieve program success,” said Matt Gibbs, president, Evergreen Consulting Group. “Dan, working in partnership with the rest of our team, our clients and stakeholders, will lead the development of new strategies and approaches to help our clients achieve their objectives. He has a broad and deep background in the utility industry and in optimizing business functions that will bring additional value to our group and most importantly to our clients.”

 Dan has three decades of business and industry experience. He has wide ranging executive leadership experience working for the utility industry research and consulting firm, E Source, and the energy-efficiency program services provider, Nexant. Dan held several leadership and management positions at Questar Corporation (now Dominion Energy) where he implemented and led the nationally recognized energy-efficiency portfolio of residential and commercial/industrial programs called ThermWise®.

 He is a Certified Project Manager and Certified Industrial Gas Consultant. He served on the board of directors for the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP), on the program advisory committee for the Consortium of Energy Efficiency (CEE), and as advisor to several local organizations focused on carbon and energy management. He holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Utah and an MBA from Argosy University. He resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. See more about Dan and about Evergreen here:
