I have been tasked to come up with a simple means of assigning an incremental cost to a VRF system and have found little solid information, but lots of conflicting information. I have installed VRF costs that vary from $14/SF to $36/SF and Mitsubishi has an add in which they make the point that their system costs no more to install than an conventional system.

I would like to know how other utilities are dealing with VRF systems and their experiences analyzing the performance of VRF systems and their incremental costs.
