We have a commercial pool project that is looking at a het pump water heater. I recall an 2011 AHR Expo Innovation Award winner for a Mayekawa Eco cute Transcritical CO2 Heat Pump from Mayekawa/Mycom. Does anyone have expericience with this CO2 heat pump? Is this available in the US?

Jack, I found a little info on the www.r744.com site. It appears that Mayekawa has installed one of their systems at a NAPA valley winery. http://www.r744.com/articles/139020110422.php This article talks about Mayekawa's product offering for the North American market. http://www.r744.com/articles/134920110211.php Here's the company's product page. COP of 8! http://www.mayekawa.com/products/05/
